My name is Christine.

You might know me from Sidepodcast, but if you don’t like F1, then you probably don’t.

You might remember me from Woke Up This Morning, but that’s gone.

It’s evolved into this, Smarter Than Your Average. It’s not a blog that’s going to revolutionise society, but it’s just about things I like and don’t like about the web, TV, films, life, just the general geeky world I live in.

Here’s ten things you don’t need to know about me:

  1. I iron left-handed even though I am right handed.
  2. I don’t like peanut butter.
  3. I once submitted a TV script to the BBC. They didn’t like it.
  4. My favourite film is Back to the Future. I could watch all three films all day long.
  5. I have really bad, but eclectic, taste in music. One day it could be S Club 7, the next it might be Linkin Park.
  6. I hate buying shoes.
  7. I like to cook, although I am not particularly good at it.
  8. I hoard magazines, even though there are few I like.
  9. I have too many ideas and not enough time.
  10. I have driven a tractor. Briefly. Almost into a hedge.
